Math Flash Cards Challenge by Kidcalc™ (Basic and Intermediate Math) teaches math to people of all ages. See how quickly you or your child can solve 10, 25, 50, or even 100 math problems!
Featuring animated illustrations on the back of the beginner level flash cards that teach how to visualize addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations, along with engaging artwork, and voice-overs by a child, Math Flash Cards Challenge by Kidcalc™ is well suited for teaching math to children as young as 3 years old.
Math Flash Cards Challenge by Kidcalc™ is based on KidCalc™ Math Fun, which was the #1 ranked education app in the App Store during the fall of 2009. In fact, 100% Math Flash Cards Challenge by Kidcalc™ is one of seven apps that comprise KidCalc™ 7-in-1 Math Fun. Parents and teachers have emailed me feedback asking asked me to release Math Flash Cards Challenge as a stand-alone app, and so that is exactly what I did.
One-touch age-based settings provide fast and simple selection of age-appropriate operations and operands. Advanced settings provide fine-grained control over operations and operands included in the flash card deck, enabling users to learn math systematically, or to focus in on operations or operands they are having trouble with.
SKILLS TAUGHT
• Addition with addends up to 1000,
• Subtraction with subtractands up to 1000,
• Multiplication with multiplicands up to 1000,
• Division with dividends up to 100,
• Visualization - Animated math lessons teach how to visualize addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations,
• Quantity recognition with up to 100 icons on the back of beginner math flash cards.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
• Setting to hide/show running clock,
• Setting to show running totals of right and wrong answers,
• One-touch age-based settings to quickly configure flash cards for any age, 2-4, 4-6, 6-8, 8-10, 10 and above,
• Advanced settings for fine-grained control over operations and operands included in the flash card deck,
• Holiday themed graphics including icons and voice overs for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Valentines Day (more holidays to come),
